e) Financial Procedures
i) It is most important PZF sets a path of fiscal prudence. The Foundation effectively belongs to every Zimbabwean and the Trustees operate it in Trust. Thus our value of integrity and transparency will be relentlessly pursued.
ii) All financial transactions of the Foundation are approved by one of the Trustees who sit on the board and co-signed by the Executive Trustee.

3) Our Development Model
Community Voluntary Public Private Sector Partnership
CVPPP is progressive development model that incorporates the Community as a key solution to any nation’s sustainable growth. This model seeks to complement efforts of various players in sustainable community development in Zimbabwe.
a) What are the various bodies
i) Voluntary sector refers to Non-Governmental Organizations who will support one initiative or the other pursuant of their mandate. Voluntary sector activity both internal and external normally activates pertinent communal fabric normally overstepped by Public and Private sectors.
ii) Community are the beneficiaries of the project either by area or defined as a people in class. It for the people who form Communities that most projects are mooted. It is therefore fitting that this be the first letter in the model.
iii) Private sector refers to the for-profit business content in a project. Thus if a project is mooted for an area, the business sector may be roped in to assist in shaping and implementing the project with key benefits clearly outlined. This applies mostly where a project is being rolled out in an existing community with excellent catchment prospects for a business.
iv) Public sector refers to the government and its various arms. Citizens pay taxes and therefore expect development in their communities to be manifest being driven by government. Local authorities and other government bodies working in lieu of government fall in this sector.

This is the development model that Proudly Zimbabwean Foundation Trust would like to pioneer in communities across Zimbabwe. Projects executed will cement communal fabric even in big cities. All sectors will be actively lobbied to participate in projects. Communities especially will be a big factor as individual ownership of communal property and resources must manifest within communities to allow other resources to be used elsewhere. With ownership, will come infrastructural life span longevity and resultantly an attitude of service from within the community itself.

4) Our Programs
Currently, Proudly Zimbabwean Foundation is executing BIN-it Zimbabwe. Our programs will be community based and supported. In 2014, we hope to launch our other programs that will focus on other areas of the community such as health, transport, water and energy.

a) BIN-it Zimbabwe Program
Bin-It Zimbabwe is a program which is being conducted by Proudly Zimbabwean Foundation.
The program aims to restore the environmental beauty of Zimbabwe through;
i) Changing mindsets of people in communities on litter disposal habits
ii) Capacitating Central Business Districts with adequate waste disposal infrastructure
iii) Providing sustainable waste management solutions across the country
The program is encouraging Zimbabwean citizens to adopt a culture of proper waste disposal in and out of homes. In 2013, the following was accomplished;
i) With the help of 24 corporates, 318 pole bins where installed in the City of Harare resulting in 87% coverage of the CBD
ii) Two massive CBD clean-ups where held in Harare, Bulawayo, Gweru and Chinhoyi
iii) Numerous community clean ups where conducted using our clean up model that is fast becoming standard across the country
iv) We set up provincial chapters that we will be bringing to full action this 2014
In 2014, we would like to bring the program to every house in Zimbabwe. We want to initiate broad media coverage of the issue and create an environment that will attract world tourism traffic.

    do you accept to join deaf people ?

    • chiposi says:

      Indeed we do. We believe every Zimbabwean has a role to play in bringing back our country from the brink. If alerted to presence of deaf people, we will attempt to provide an interpreter at our AGM. Hopefully we will find one better than the one used at the Mandela Funeral.
